M.O.S is an abbreviation for Moment Of Silence a music group from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.
In 2016 Before M.O.S GANG came into existence Nqobani Ndlovu popularly known as 2N partnered with Steven Sithole popularly known as 88 and did their very first song titled “We have made it” which kicked off their career.
2017 a 3rd member Oscar Bere popularly known as J.O who was a classmate joined them and M.O.S GANG was formed. After finishing their o level at Mzilikazi high they recorded their first song as a trio titled “We in the hood” and got a poor response from listeners as the song quality was below normal standards, they didn’t stop pursuing their dreams just because of a poor debut song so they continued releasing a couple more songs from 2018-19,songs such as RISING,VULASINGENE,WE COMING just to mention a few.
Their marketing was mainly through live performances all around the city and attending shows whenever they can to make themselves known, performing made a big impact in their career as they began to have attention from thousands of listeners around the city.
88 later left the group in 2019 and it was left a duo, the duo took some time to figure out their style of music as they kept a low profile from 2019 up until 2022 when they came back with a new Christian hip hop song titled What’s Happening which speaks profound massage about salvation and how the world is slowly drifting away from Christ, the song has been doing well on social media being their first song to ever hit a 100 views in weeks time on YouTube.
In 2022 they partnered with a few local artists namely The whole tribe duo and Frillex to initiate an event they named MY CITY MOVEMENMT, a successful music show which was aimed at uplifting upcoming artists and giving them platform to showcase their craft.
Christian hip hop is their newly found type of music as they look up to some international artists like Lecrae, Bizzle, KB and Limoblaze just to mention a few, M.O.S GANG promises to bring more great music of the gospel as they look forward to releasing their 2nd Christian song.
